The new Business School at the University aimed to attract 2,000 additional students. The building features a variety of spaces, including teaching areas for large and small groups, quiet study zones, breakout and relaxation spaces, administration offices, and a spacious cafeteria. Its purpose is to foster collaboration between academics, students, and enterprises, inspiring active participation in business. Gresham worked closely with the University to provide a number of products, including, Take Off Plus, Oli, Betsy and Moment Steel Leg Tables.

Gresham

The College worked with Gresham to combine bright, versatile, and variable fabrics, furniture and detail to complement the large and open spaces, and smaller study spaces within our new Skills and Innovation Building. Gresham listened carefully to what the College wanted to achieve and offered solutions and alternatives for us to consider to ensure our aspirations were delivered. Gresham worked with within our timeframes and responded efficiently to our queries throughout the project. Recently, we have commissioned Gresham to work with us on another project due to this experience.

Our Bespoke Team custom designed the BT breakout space in collaboration with an external workplace furniture supplier. Creating a central dining space, booths and wall features.

The University required desking, seating and storage, including hot desking and spaces for ‘agile’ working. We also developed some bespoke furniture, including a custom-designed meeting table in HI-MACS ROMA with integrated power and a backlit corporate logo, seating 20 people.

The refurbishment of Uttley House was aimed at converting it into a self-catered hall, consisting of 62 en-suite bedrooms set in beautiful gardens. The facility now boasts internal study spaces, a common room, and laundry facilities, catering to both postgraduate and undergraduate students seeking a quieter living environment.
